Guest guest
My son has recently had these odd reactions. His ears will flush a blood-red color, his knees, elbows and butt cheeks do the same and he's itchy all over. He's on a very restricted diet but it always happens within hours of quinoa so I'm thinking that's the culprit. BUT it doesn't happen often. He can eat normally for weeks and then this happens - but ALWAYS after quinoa. He gets enzymes with quinoa so that part's covered. The red ears make me think food intolerance but the elbows, knees and butt confuse me. Nothing else happens, no spots randomly on his body or itching on his chest or face (his usual reaction). I give him charcoal when this happens and wrap him tightly in a blanket (he asks for that part to help the itching) and within 20 minutes of the charcoal, colors return to normal and he's off playing. Other than the obvious avoiding quinoa for a bit, anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks! Wyndie
