Always do a 24 hour collection if you want such a test to have any meaning at all. > What is the > best way to determine what if any excretion my son is getting? He's excreting, all mammals do that when given chelators. Not doing so is not compatible with life. Thus he is alive, you gave him a chelator, he's excreting heavy metals. Pay attention to whether he gets better from chelation, don't dabble at mad scientist and enrich the lab getting numbers you won't know what to do with, and that have surprisingly little meaning anyway. > Thank > you for your help. >
Guest guest
>>>If you really MUST test (for your sanity - I did a few times) then start the 24 hour collection with first morning urine on Day 2. I always got 'best' pulls showing on tests from 4 hours post first dose - starting Friday at 4.00pm and collecting from first morning urine Saturday. Use Doctors Data not Genova, you can access that without medic from www.directlabs.com and say you are meber of the autism group and you'll get a small discount.? Guest guest
- You've already gotten the response - the point here is that there are no norms. How would you know what it means unless you could compare the level of mercury that comes out of a poisoned person vs. the level that comes out of a non-poisoned person, and then get some statistical value that says, over this level, you're poisoned, over this level you're very poisoned, over this level you're extremely poisoned ... ? The thing is, we dont' have that. We don't even have an a-priori way to tell who is poisoned. For me, the most useful thing has been to keep a journal. That way, I can both tell what is working and what is not, and I can also tell what is improving and what not. At the front, I made a list of symptoms. Every once in a while, I realize that something else that I thought was just me, is really another symptom. I usually realize that as it begins to disappear! I also know some people take videos of their kids, so they can compare as they proceed. Would you do a one time urine collection toward the end of the 3rd day or would you do a 24 hour collection? What is the best way to determine what if any excretion my son is getting? Thank you for your help.
