Guest guest
Can someone please help......I am one week now at two packs a day of Three Lac. Do I need to increase or can I stay the same. I do have more enegry, bloating is better suffering from headachs but I guess that is die-off. I think most of us are so used to feeling bad we don't know what normal bad is. This is really one of those things that can really make you (and your Dr.)think your nuts. Thanks for any input. Deb
Guest guest
I still have headaches once in awhile and I've been taking it since mid-May--my advice experiment with yourself--take 3 a day tomorrow (or one day) and see how you feel--if worse, go back to 2 and take 2 for a while longer--than try 3 another time. that is my advice the die-off will recurr every so often--with persistence though the die-off will happen less and less! and you will be candida free! brenda Re: Starving! Guest guest
I think everyone is different. I'm also taking two a day and had increased to three for a few days but I felt pretty bad so went back to two and felt a lot better. I plan to stick with two for at least another month and then hopefully can decrease to one a day. My suggestion would be to try it. Guest guest
If you're starving again less than 2 hours after a meal, you might need to make your portions a little bigger or use more calorie-dense carbs - beans, bread, sweet potato, oats, and pasta as opposed to like strawberries, kiwi fruit, or squash. The more satisfying carbs will give you better " I'm full " signals and keep you out of the snack treats. If your worried about the effect it would have on your weight loss, you could always have the hearty carbs early in the day, like post-workout, and then back off on them at night. Starving! I have been starving for the last three days now! I don't want to go into starvation mode so what do you all think I should do? I plan to have a BIG salad w/ chicken breast at lunch. Last night I was so starving...i ended up eating a Ding Dong...yeah not good!!
Guest guest
I always have a snack after dinner, but well before bedtime. sometimes I'l have the oatmeal with protien powder, or yogurt and cottage cheese...or a shake. I am very dilligent about eating every 2-3 hours...its pretty cool because my body is so used to it now that I can feel when its " the time " lol > > I have been starving for the last three days now! Guest guest
Increase your portion sizes or add on a meal. I have had to steadily increase my intake as I have gained lean mass or else I would end up awake at 3am hungry as all hell. When ever this happens I add a little more food the next day and I try to eat a slow burning carb for my last meal, to tide me through the night. Opt for carbs " longer-sticking " power. For me that means: oatmeal, potatoes, lentils, etc. Colleen
Guest guest
mmmmmmmmmmm Ding Dongs..... LOL. I had a thought as I read your post. Are you close to menstrating? You don't have to answer that but on a personal note the week before I am going to, I am extremely hungry. I used to eating EVERYTHING. I know that this happens to me so I have been trying to plan for it. I pack myself more vegetables, more salads and raw veggies with my meals that I take to work. My real challenge is my " off day " that week I make sure I plan something that gets me out of the house and away from fast food restaurants. I find that if I can figure out the cause of some obstacle its easier for me to find a way to jump it.

You want to go raw then you are going to have to cut our the cream cheese and eggs. Get away from any cooked foods. Start doing lots of juicing and drinking lots and lots of fresh juiced vegetables and fruits. Smoothies are good. The only reason we starve or feel like we are starving is because of our mental conditioning and the fact that our body is not getting enough nourishment from what we eat. That is why we all eat so much. A good thorough bowel cleansing along with a thorough body cleansing can help to eliminate the excess mucus from the body and bowels. The bowels get clogged up and coated with dried on sticky mucus that prevents nutrients from getting into the blood stream and going where they need to go. Many people, some famous some not so famous have proven that you clean out all the dried on mucus and fecal material from the bowels you no longer need to eat much of anything as your body is now very efficient at absorbing nutirents. Clean out the mucus from the cellular level on up throughout the whole body by fasting and juice cleansing or herbal cleansings on a continuing basis and your body will become so efficient you will not need to eat more than one small meal a day if that. The body is very capable of this as that is how it was designed. Stay away from the cooked foods, refined sugars, refined flours, processed foods and stick with all raw. Do a thorough bowel cleanse followed by a complete body cleansing. Then stay all raw. Continue to cleanse on a periodic basis, maybe twice a year or more. Fast, using only water, once a month for a week. Drink lots and lots of fresh fruit juices and/or vegetable juices. Your body is worth it to you if you wish true health and vitality. Exercise regularly and take steam baths or saunas to help eliminate toxins through the skin. Do a twice daily skin brushing, first thing in the morning and just before going to bed. There are lots of good cleansing products on the market. Lots of good bowels cleanses, body cleanses, liver cleanses, kidney cleanses, etc. The only reason we ever feel like we are starving is because our body is not getting the nutrients it needs or because of our mental programming. There is no other reason. Peace be with you Sheila. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Sorry Sheila, been gone most of weekend working on the kids house... If you're going to do a juice fast, you need to use the same fruits or veggies thru out the fast... like apples or apple carrot combo.. etc.. and as much distilled water with lemon juice added as you can drink. If you get hungry inbetween, eat an apple or carrot or whatever item you are using as your drink... There are cleanses in the files too. As for the smoothies, no. The detox baths.. see the message archives I just posted a message on that... hot baths with epsom or ginger salts is good. You can do a 3 day or more fast... just remember when you come off it to go easy like salads or juices, etc... go easy back to the food... The master or lemonade cleanse is a really good cleanse to do also. And yes, salad is okay for your dinner or veggies... take a plant enzyme before your meal if you have to eat something else... So for the next 7 days I'm allowed to have water, and fruit/veg juice that I juice myself? what about fruit smoothies? can i have those? they seem more like food to me than juices? and steam baths? those get rid of toxins in the body? how? I take hot baths all the time! So if i do this, I won't pass out from lack of food? I'm sure I won't but I have to ask! This week I'm meeting with a theater company about producing a play in my gallery and I'm having a fashion meeting with local designers and models becuase once a month I'm hosting a fashion show! I'd hate to be dizzy and/or pass out becuase i've been drinking water all week! AND tuesday night I have a very important meeting at one of Phoenix's most sought after resorts and it's a dinner meeting. Will I be able to have a salad? I'm sure they don't have a juicer or juice on their menu! I'll be lucky to find a salad without lobster! tee hee! i'm so excited! If you wish to do a juice cleanse then you should drink lots and lots of water every day and drink lots and lots of the juice of your choice everyday. Only stick to one type of juice. Don't change juices everyday. One type of juice throughout the whole cleanse. Fruit smoothies are out for the cleanse. The hot baths are wonderful, add a cup of epsom salts to them and allow yourself to just soak for about 45 minutes. Make sure the water is as hot as you can stand and by all means, drink some hot ginger tea or chamomile/yarrow tea or a little cayenne in some hot water to help you perspire. This will open up the pores of your skin, increase the blood flow and allow for the release of toxins through your skin. Just make sure to take a cold shower afterwards to rinse off and close your pores. No you will not pass out from lack of food. Just be careful when standing after a hot bath. Some people get very light headed. This is not unusual. Do feel free to enjoy a salad at your dinner meeting. There are always ways to request a completely raw meal. I do believe that Judy from http://www.rawfoodsnewsmagazine.com/ has a really neat way of ordering a completely raw meal that you can print out and take with you to hand to the waiters. Here is the url for that: http://www.rawfoodsnewsmagazine.com/modules.php?op=modload & name=News & file=articl\ e & sid=20 <http://www.rawfoodsnewsmagazine.com/modules.php?op=modload & name=News & file=artic\ le & sid=20> If you should decide you can't survive without eating something then by all means eat the fruit or vegetable that you are juicing with. Or just drink more juice. Either way works. Do enjoy you dinner meeting though and peace be with you Sheila. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
