Guest guest
Good morning! I just shipped my son's first Urine Porphryins test off to France. For what it cost me, I was tempted to buy an airline ticket and take it there myself. I've never seen Paris. My instructions said ship FedEx only (looks like instructions from my doc and not the lab). I had the choice of $60 (1 week) and $70 (2 days). The instructions also talked about the specimen being " OK " for the 3 days of transit, which I took to mean it would not be OK to send it via ground. I'm thinking I could have sent this another way. I should have checked before hand, but I'm asking now. I feel a little stupid. One, I'm not sure this test was really necessary (I'm chelating regardless). Two, again I question the financial waste of it all. Pam
