Guest guest
I just wrote to Free Speech TV and asked them to start a show on autism. The mainstream media is ignoring our kids. (very bummed about the lack of media at the rally) We need a grassroots organization to help. Free Speech TV would be a perfect vehicle. There are so many people who would be super hosts for such a show... and tons of guests and topics of discussion. Can you imagine a show where parents tune in weekly and find out what other parents are doing to help their babies.... success stories galore. New therapies.... Research.... We need this. So, I invite you to google Free Speech TV and ask them to do a show with me. It would broaden their viewship. Everyone knows someone on the spectrum. Please join me in this quest. Guest guest
I know this may sound totally crazy, but I think that in addition to more informative programs we also need an ASD sitcom (or stand up comedy show, or something). Not because ASD is funny, but because humor is good medicine, and I keep saying about things that happen that I'll look back one day (after recovery) and laugh about something. Also, like The Onion (the spoof newspaper) has shown us many times, sometimes humor is the best way to tell the truth. At the end of a long hard day I think it would help me feel less depressed and less isolated. -Sierra > > great idea. > > I wrote them. > > Email addresses are > > viewercomments@... > viewercomments{at}freespeech.org > > and > > programsubmission@... > programsubmission{at}freespeech.org
Guest guest
TLC has the most ridiculous shows and I always wish they would do an autism reality show. Then I realized that the ASD kids would probably have a problem with all of the people and lights in their homes. But TLC would be a great place for a running documentary or something about autism. Hopefully if there ever is one, it's done with an open mind and not all about how there is no cure and it's purely neurological, which is most likely what it would be about to appeal to the masses. > > > > great idea. > > > > I wrote them. > > > > Email addresses are > > > > viewercomments@ > > viewercomments{at}freespeech.org > > > > and > > > > programsubmission@ > > programsubmission{at}freespeech.org >
