Guest guest
The harshness and side effects are not see if you use the proper dosing protocol. We are two years and running on my son, daughter and myself with dmsa/ala. Ala will not remove any significant amount of lead. So if you have confirmed he has Lead from either hair testing or blood...he stand a better chance with dmsa. > > Hi all > I suspect that my 5 yr old son has lead issues and would like to know > particularly after reading some of the recent posts regarding DMSA side > effects if ALA can chelate lead or will I have to use DMSA on my son? > I know that DMSA was meant specifically for lead in children but I am > still concerned about the harshness and possible side effects. > Any input regarding this would be much appreciated. > I intend to start chelating my son within the next couple of weeks > using Andy's protocol. > Kenny >

In the past, several people have posted that based on test results, ALA does chelate lead, altho probably not as effectively as DMSA. For some reason we have people playing troll right now and trying to agitate the list on this issue. DMSA has side effects, ALA actually has more side effects. Proper usage of DMSA will reduce the side effects to modest and easily controllable issues. Andy
