Guest guest
You can't feel too guilty - yes, I could have done more research - now I know for the next time and for someone else. A vaccine injury lawyer - Terzian out of Richmond VA. You can find him on the web with his bio. The first thing you must realize and this you can't feel guilty because there was sneakiness on part of our government ) - depending when your child got his shot, you have a very limited time to claim vaccine injury - called the Statutes of Limitations. It was placed in the Homeland Security Act and when Congressman Dan Burton found out about it - he was ticked!! When more and more people start waking up (we are on this list), I can't imagine the Govt letting anyone else successfully get a claim. The special masters have not ruled on the first test case yet and the other two tests cases have now been heard too. with no decisions. What could they be possibly waiting for...more Hannah Poling cases? I can't seem to figure out the wait. ************** Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
I think we all feel guilty. My child is 10. I still remember be handed the consent form on the day he was born for an unnecessary shot. I signed it. OMG! We have to rely upon " authorities " for many decisions. Our reliance upon the authority of doctors and the CDC in the case of our autistic kids turned out to be tragic. I just live with it. I will spend the rest of my life trying to correct my error by caring for my son and pursuing bio-medical interventions to improve his circumstances. I only hope I live long enough. --- sharashing@... wrote: > After reading the Georgia girls case I realize my > son also fell behind in > vaccinations and received both his 15 month abd 18 > month shots in a 2 week > period. Guest guest
Whoa, whoa......you need to can that crap right now. You are not at fault. This is more common than you know. Many of our kids slipped into autism after routine shots so how are you to know it's because he got 2 sets in a short time? How were you supposed to know that it was a risk? Did your doctor tell you it was possiby dangerous? No, I'm sure you were just told they were going to get your son " up to date " on all these wonderful life saving vaccines. And, like any good mother, you listened because you believed they were telling you the truth. C'mon girl....it's time to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and get angry! This is exactly what the medical establishment wants....you to feel like it's YOUR fault. It's not. Plain and simple. Wipe your tears and save your energy for recovering your son. As for the lawyer thing....I don't have any answers for you other than suing the govm't is a lengthy, expensive proccess that has a low probability of a good outcome. Use your money to recover/treat your son first. We've all been where you're at, and I totally understand. However, you are being waaaay to hard on yourself and that isn't going to help anyone! There is hope for your son...never give up, never stop fighting for him. As I'm sure all of us on this list could use. I'm sitting here crying knowing I held my perfect son as he received these toxic shots and it was partly my fault because he had fallen behind in his very proactive vaccination schedule. I can't remember why he missed his 15 month appointment, I feel so guilty I cannot stop crying right now....I would never have had him receive these shots had I known the dangerous toxins they contained. Guest guest
Here are some lawyers that specialize with Vaccine Injury: http://www.cfcbar.org/results If a lawyer accepts your case-it costs $250.00 to file for the fund. Then of course your lawyer gets a certain percentage of any money you get. Some of the lawyers are booked out on the list and are no longer taking cases. If your interested start at the bottom of the list versus the top!! Kay

Guest guest
You may want to check your facts concerning the filing deadline. Parents wishing to file a claim for their vaccine-injured child might want to take a look at: http://www.wdolaw.com/ There is a potential case form to fill out and there are contact numbers, etc. > > You can't feel too guilty - yes, I could have done more research - now I > know for the next time and for someone else. Guest guest
Please, don't cry! Please... Please... I have done my crying. And I still cry occasionally. But this is not helping my child. My son had all his vaccines on schedule, and still got sick. Very sick. So, it does not really matter whether your child had them doubled or not. As for the lawyer, it may not help you at this point until they change the legislation. It has be done by the Congress. The Statute of Limitations is 3 years now. That means that you can only sue the government if you can prove that it has been less than 3 years since the onset of the disease or the its first symptom, whichever comes first. We have been trying to join the waiting list, but the government lawyers have been fighting it for almost two years not to let us in. They argue that the first symptom occurred earlier than 3 years from the application date, even though we applied within a year of receiving a diagnosis. The government lawyers manipulate the law anyway they want. There is a panel of 7 of them fighting us and our only lawyer. There was a proposal to extend the statute of limitations for autism, but it has never even reached the floor. The government is not interested in helping you or me, or our poor children. All you can do now is try to help your child asmuch as possible, noone else will (unfortunately). I wish people in this country would wake up and do something about this tragic epidemics... But they don't, until it touches them personally (and this not always the case). So, we just have to be strong. We were deceived. But we will be vigilant from now on. God is high and sees everything happening down here. Those doctors and government officials will pay one day... Guest guest
Hey, thank you very much, I live in Oregon and just filled out the form. It says they are evaluating the cases of children 7 years old and under. My son was diagnosed in December 2006. Some of these kids don't have an immediate reaction from vaccines, but their immune systems are harmed over time, this is the case with my younger son. My older son had immediate regression from the DTP vaccine. > > > > You can't feel too guilty - yes, I could have done more research - > now I > > know for the next time and for someone else. Guest guest
In addition to filing with a lawyer, parents may want to know that they can file a report, direct, with VAERS. It is NOT reserved just for doctors. Anyone can file a report. Also, there is no time limit. Ordinarily we would think that once a week, or a few weeks, has gone by that the time to report had expired. Not so. So, anyone who has not filed a report -- unless you are absolutely certain your doctor filed -- might want to consider doing that. -- In , " Soliday " <elizabethsoliday@...> wrote: > > Hey, thank you very much, I live in Oregon and just filled out the > form.
