Guest guest
It will have an effect, but it wont' totally obscure what is going on (and there is a lot that of information can be gotten out of a hair test). So, test away! Dave. -------------- Posted by: " Elen Morell " elen@... elen_morell Date: Mon Jun 9, 2008 5:06 pm ((PDT)) Hi, would taking mineral supplements hide imbalances needed for counting rules? I am planning to do hair elements test from Doctor's Data. Also, since I started something (I suspect minerals), my kids accelerated growth of teeth. Daughter (5.5, ASD) just had her first tooth out, and the new one growing behind the curent tooth line. I googled it, and doctors several websites said that it often adjusts. Son (10, NT) had 4 teeth fallen out, his dentist noted that he is on the early side. I would apprecite any insight on this. Thanks! Guest guest
Elen, Supplementation will sometimes obscure the counting rules as it did for us. My DS's first hair test when he was 2.5 met 2 counting rules and showed seriously high copper. At the time we were only supplementing with fish oil and a gummy bear type multi. Then, We addressed the copper problem by adding zinc, added epsom salt baths, seriously addressed his yeast problem and added Vit E. The next hair test and the 2 we've done since then DO NOT meet the counting rules even though I know he has a mercury problem. However, the test does allow me to monitor his copper/zinc and can highlight adrenal/thyroid issues and allow you to see issues at the top with metals too. > > Hi, > would taking mineral supplements hide imbalances needed for counting > rules?
