Hi

Sorry youre having such a bad time right now. I`m not sure I

understand why you would wake yourself up at 3a.m to take the LDN?

You can just take it before you go to sleep at whatever time that

is! Lots of people seem to need to start at a low dose and work

their way up. Try a small dose (1.5mg) at bedtime and see how it

goes and then stick at that until your body gets used to it before

going up slowly until you reach 3 or 4.5mg.

Sorry to hear about your problems with ldn. I take it for my ms and have not experienced any of the side effects you mention. Sorry I can't be of any help but I truly don't know what to say. Sincerely, and, have a great day. Bob

hii have RA and have been attempting to take ldn for the last month. the 1st 5 days i took it at 4.5 mg at bedtime - between 11 pm and 12 am. worked great at reducing RA but had no sleep. no other side effects at that time. switched to taking at 3 am at 1 mg and now up to 3 mg over 3 weeks. started having bouts of dizziness and nausea. bedridden for 1st 4 days then somewhat better but if i bend over i almost pass out. seriously interfering with deep sleep having to wake up at 3 am. switched to 9 am 2 days ago. feeling so dizzy and nauseous i cannot tolerate it. severe sensitivity to light and sound and smell - feels like a migraine. also very heavy menstrual flow. i want to be able to find a way to successfully take this stuff as it does help the RA but at such cost. help!! also no appetite for last 3 days. barely eating at

im really confusedyou started at 4.5 and your taking it at 3 amif I could make a suggestiontake it at bedtimestart with 1.5 try some melatonin 1 mg sublingual to get you thru the no sleepstry some ginger ale if your nauseousand see if that worksps is compounded or something  your mixing up at home? thanks for the suggestions. i forgot to mention that between taking 4.5

mg at nite and switching to 3 am - i took 1 mg at bedtime for a week and

still had horrible sleep. tried melatonin and did not help. told my doc

and he told me to take it at 9 am and said it would still work. also,

according to some on here and to elaine moore daytime is just as

effective. b/c many on this list says it has to be taken btwn 9 am and 3

am to be effective, i started taking it at 3 am b/c it didn't bother my

sleep near as much. but the 3 am wakings were becoming problemtic even

for my hubby who usually sleeps like a baby! so i've tried just about

every time. sigh -- maybe ldn is jus not going to work for me? my ldn is

compunded with lactose in 1 mg capsules.

i'm 39. it's the sublingual melatonin i was using.

i've been taking probiotics for a year now and take aloe vera and

follow the GAPS diet for healing the gut.

why is the ldn causing such horrible nausea and dizziness? does it

mess with my hormones?

i thought it was best to avoid advicil as a filler? i thought lactose

or acidophilus were the preferred fillers?

Why avoid Avicel? That's supposedly the filler that gives less allergic

problems than lactose.

Excuse the ignorance - but what's the aloe juice for? What effect

does it have on gut?

I also had head pains from avicel filler. Lactose and other fillers

have been fine. Beth
