Guest guest
Hi, We're chelating (4th round) with DMSA+ALA and are seeing a pattern of yellow poops (mushy/borderline liquid) a bit after the round starts and for 1-2 days afterwards. Reading the archives of this list and links, the suggestion is that there may be liver/bile issues that are causing this discoloration. Our son also had a fever of 103F on this last round, so we ended it. His neutrophils were good before we started. -Is this kind of discoloration during the round typical, or is it a likely indicator that the chelation (probably the DMSA) is putting too much stress on his liver? -How soon do liver and neutrophil issues show themselves, if they're a problem? [i thought it took 2-3 months before you had to retest blood and maybe the liver, after starting.] Many thanks in advance.
