Guest guest
Is anyone out there experiencing "Up-Set Stomach" after you started taking LDN? I am taking it for my multiple sclerosis from Skip's Pharmacy (just started 3 capsules for 3 weeks) but also have ulcerative colitis. I know I shouldn't be eating raw vegetables but we have had an extremely successful garden this year and our tomatoes are bigger & better than ever before! I am also thinking that perhaps it's the filler in the capsules. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Guest guest
Skip uses Avicel as a filler. Some have reported an upset stomach/nausea while using and improvement after changing fillers. Guest guest
, If the stomach upset persist you may consider the topical application of the cream which is quite good. Best Regards, B. Guest guest
Make sure it is not the filler upsetting your stomach. I had to switch from avicel to lactose for that reason; avicel made me really ill. good luck--JoyceIt's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here. Guest guest
I'm on the same dose, also for MS. Initially LDN seemed to aggravate my recurrent heartburn but I take it with a little food now and am more consistent with the OTC Prilosec for the heartburn. That helped avoid the stomach issues. > > Is anyone out there experiencing " Up-Set Stomach " after you started taking LDN? Guest guest
Blaming tomatoes, peppers, spinach, etc for salmonella outbreaks is a scam the FDA uses to get eventual acceptance of irradiating all our vegetables. This also kills nearly all the nutrients. People slowly start getting sick and taking more drugs for various suspected diseases, which is actually malnutrition. California almonds are already being irradiated. Animal and/or human waste is the cause of salmonella on vegetables. Always wash them well in water and hydrogen peroxide or vinegar or both. Re: [low dose naltrexone] Side Effects of LDN Hi, maybe tomatoes should be considered as the trouble maker here? I have Crohns which is the cousin of Ulcerative colitis, and a lot of us Crohnies can't eat tomatoes, it really upsets our poor intestines.....:-) Ingrid ----- .. Thanks for this Cotton, though I think I would stick with vinegar as don't know where to get food grade peroxide? Also, how are you? Guest guest
Hi, Don't know anything about ulcerative colitis, but my daughter lost about 15 pounds within the first month at 3mg. (1.5mg didn't have this effect.) She wasn't exactly feeling nauseous, just not right in the tummy. She was able to start eating again after 4-5 weeks and the weight loss has stopped. But she still does not have the appetite she had before. > Is anyone out there experiencing " Up-Set Stomach " after you started taking LDN? Guest guest
when you have to go on coffee, you have adrenal fatigue probably.look for a doctor that can treat it and then you will be able easy to go on ldn. > > > On the suggestion of other lyme disease sufferers, I decided to try LDN,.5.I have also had what I think is either progressive MS or benign MS since 89. With one dose my spasms went away, it helped some gerd related asthma,^and unexpectedly helped some chronic nasal stuffiness. Unfortunately the side effects were unacceptable for me. It forced me to go back on coffee due to tiredness. I experienced some significant emotional instability. My blood sugar issues became out of control. Also a transient condition where I feel I might black out(due to the lyme disease) reappeared. Have others experienced similar side effects? If not what side effects have you experienced. I may have to go back on this however it was very elective when I tried it. My spasms are not a big issue just a chronic tightness that I can live with. Thanks Doug >
