I looked at his hair test and it is very very close to meeting one rule. ( 4 in

the red zone ) I would post the question again to Any and others. To me I would

say it meets the rule being its SO close

[ ] Hair Test Results - Pls review and comment

I just posted my son's DDI hair test (hair test folder, file name

MMB_hair_test) and am looking for some help interpreting it. By my

calculation, he doesn't meet any of the counting rules, but I feel his

results are abnormal enough to cause concern. I am especially

concerned about his tin excretion, and have no idea what the source

is/was.

My son is 2 years old. I do meet one counting rule myself and I'm in

the process of having my amalgams removed. Because I am toxic, I

suspect he may be as well even though his test doesn't overtly show it.

TIA for any help.

Amalgam contains tin.

The hair test looks pretty abnormal. Strictly by the rules

it is unusual with 3 in red. Very elevated tin is a common

effect of mineral transport derangement. Undetectable mercury

is another sign of this. Overall, it looks very suspicious.

You don't indicate if he has a diagnosis or any type of health

or behavior problem. If so, chelation is likely to help.

His zinc is very low and supplemental zinc is needed.

You can find a lot of information on how to chelate safely in

the files. Moria's website and the supplement file are great

starting points.

Thank you so much, , for taking the time to review and

respond.

He doesn't have a spectrum diagnosis, but his issues/symptoms

include:

* leaky gut (IgG reactions to 25 foods)

* very restless sleep; chronic overtiredness

* " allergic shiners "

* distended abdomen

* social anxiety

I am still sorting through all his lab work, but some abnormal

values are:

* dysbiosis (citrobacter koseri) on his CSA

* low Butyrate and total SCFAs on his CSA

* high AST (110; ref range 16-57)

* high ALT (116; ref range 30-65)

* low BUN (6; ref range 7-18)

* low Total Protein (5.8; ref range 6.3-8.1)

* low CO2 (20; ref range 21-32)

I am currently supplementing with:

zinc

magnesium

digestive enzymes

probiotics

Vit C

CLO (mostly for the A & D) and additional fish oil for more omega 3

I'd like to start something for liver support (milk thistle?), but

his doctor wants to do further testing for his liver. If I start

milk thistle, would it skew his test results?

Based on your previous feedback and my gut feeling, I do feel

chelation would be helpful.

thanks again,

monique
