Guest guest
I was told by my health practitioner that it's not accurate at all. Guest guest
Are you talking about the simple test where you spit into a glass of water and watch for white " threads " to form? If that's the test you're talking about, our family did it. I know my son and I have yeast issues, and in both of our glasses, white threads did form. My son and I both crave sweets a lot. My husband doesn't crave sweets, and his spit didn't form those white threads. Obviously this is not a scientific study! But we had read about the spit test for yeast and thought it would be fun to try. Couldn't be much cheaper - a glass of water and some spit Debbie In a message dated 3/24/2008 1:08:30 PM Central Daylight Time, paxlforme@... writes: > How accurate is the spit test for yeast? > - > **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Guest guest
Does the child have a white coating on tongue? Crave only starches, constipation? Any rashes? Sometimes you can determine yeast without a fancy test. Also it child has even taken antibiotics you can bet they have a yeast problem. > > How accurate is the spit test for yeast? > - >
Guest guest
She doesn't have any of the physical symptoms.... atleast not these. But she has some behavioral symptoms that are sometimes listed as possibly being yeast.... including hyperness, giggling and sleep problems (listed on Danasview). But, the spit test came back negative. I did the spit test on myself and it was positive. Is there anyway to know if I should treat her - without doing a lab test? I'm wondering if it will be accurate if I test my husband that way. -
