Arsenic concern

We just received back our test results from last month and Arsenic

level is up for my son ( on urine test). The urine collected night

after the round of DMSA. It's been jumping up and down and now at

highest in 6 months. So concerning: what is going on? Is it what

stays in him or what is coming out? If it's increasing in him, than

where from and why? We are so careful with toys, foods, drinks.

Anybody who has any idea about it, plese share!

Thanks

Natalia

Urine tests have a large amount of error associated with them. Also,

different people excrete different amounts of metals at different

times. It is possible that the differences between different tests

are not significant. The important thing is that he has some arsenic

in him and you are chelating to take it out. DMPS is a good chelator

for arsenic; ALA is as well and you need to include ALA to get metals

out of the brain, so ALA chelation will eventually get rid of the

arsenic too.
