You can take it anytime between 9PM to 3AM. Due to daylight savings time, most people take it between 10PM to 2AM. If you travel you just take it between those times in the place you are at. Also, if you work night shifts you still take it between 10MP and 2AM. It does not matter if you are sleeping at those times or not.
