Guest guest
Could someone please help me out with my children's DDI Hair Elements test results? I have 6 children, the youngest are babies, so 4 have been tested. I would really appreciate it. I hope this comes out well as I took considerable time typing & fixing it up. (I couldn't scan it in as it wasn't clear). I have the other 3 coming as well. One at a time I think... These results are for my 2yo boy, never vacc'd, had antibiotics twice in his first year (tested positive for yeast) & has had steroids for respitory issues a handful of times. His mattress had always been wrapped & he never wears flame retardent pjs. He is on a modified SCD & very intolerant to many, if not most to all, foods, in some way. His present supps are Spectrum Complete multi, 500mg C, 500mcg DMG, 400mcg folic acid, 3 transfer factor, 6 drops Liver Life, 125mg carnitine, 10mg extra zinc, 250mg lysine, 2500mcg biotin, appx 300mg taurine, 1mg K2, 1t Green Pastures CLO, 1 packet Threelac, 1 baby scoop Custom Probiotics. He's supposed to start Nystatin as well. The practitioner I saw recently felt none of my unvacc'd kids would need chelation! Any guidance on what to do for him? Supps? Chelators? Thank you ... The hair test counts as normal. However, sometimes tin gets very elevated before the test meets a rule, so this makes it suspicious. Also red low cobalt and manganese are often seen when mercury is a problem. A trial of chelation will get rid of the uncertainty. Use ALA with optional DMSA or DMPS, starting with 1/8-1/4 mg per pound. Read Moria's website in the files for more details about chelation and ask questions as needed.hugs > His present supps are Spectrum Complete multi, 500mg C, 500mcg DMG, > 400mcg folic acid, 3 transfer factor, 6 drops Liver Life, 125mg > carnitine, 10mg extra zinc, 250mg lysine, 2500mcg biotin, appx 300mg > taurine, 1mg K2, 1t Green Pastures CLO, 1 packet Threelac, 1 baby > scoop Custom Probiotics. Supplementation can make the hair test look more normal. Check supps and doses against recommendations in the supplement file. Have you tried enzymes? Might help with food intolerance. -- > He's supposed to start Nystatin as well.
