Guest guest
I know Dr. Neubrander has something on his webpage about why the butt fat is the best. On my son its the only place he has any fat and not much of it!! I get my son while he's sleeping. He doesn't cover his butt because he doesn't know its coming and he rarely knows I've done it. Sometimes he'll rub his butt and roll over but he's never woken up. Kerrie **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
I don't think it matters, I give mine in the tummy (lots of fat there!). I can't tell much difference when I take it myself other than I have a little more energy. Chris _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of iVORYOURS@... Guest guest
I really wish it didn't matter - my little guy is so guarded with his rear end, that I have to literally outsmart him everytime I need to give him one. Has anyone else tried an alternate location and not seen a difference?? Guest guest
it won't hurt them to do it in the arm but it won't be as effective of a treatment unless it is given in the FAT. Best place is in the Butt. --- iVORYOURS@... wrote: > Does anyone know if its OK to give B12 shots in the > upper arm. Or does it > have to go into the but. Guest guest
If you are talking regular old B12 shots, I don't know how much it matters. If you are talking about the mB12 (methylcobalamin) shots given to kids; there is a protocol by Dr. Neubrander that strictly says to give the shot in the upper buttocks at a 45 degree angle (I think). The biggest benefits of the mB12 shots is supposed to be language. There can be hyperactivity; both temporary and not. B12 shots give us energy, right? I don't do them. Guest guest
I think it helps with energy but it supposed to help with getting the methylation cycle adjusted too, right? --- noaholiviaian <phaselow@...> wrote: > If you are talking regular old B12 shots, I don't > know how much it > matters. Guest guest
Dr Neubrander's research has shown that it is important that the MB12 disperse in a certain way. This is done only in the fat of the butt, according to him. That is also why you need to give the shot at the shallowest angle you can--less than 30 degrees. If the MB12 helps to start your child's methylation system to work properly, you can expect some pretty good things, as this system is integral to good health. However, like every intervention, there are no guarantees about what would happen. Before starting I would really take the time to go to Dr Neubrander's site and do some reading there.
