Guest guest
Hi Ruth, Just wanted to say good luck with your book. I couldn't take part in your study as I am in Scotland but I hope you managed to get enough volunteers. Good luck,
Guest guest
Hi . Xango IS a multi-level marketing co. I don't care much for them, but I didn't want to spend more time and $ trying to find another juice that may not even help me. So,I trusted Rosner's research and took the plunge. I don't SELL the product, even though I had to sign up to receive it. But Velma Henken sells it @ 360-384-3067. So I don't care if people buy the juice at Xango or not. There MAY be another co. out there that is reputable, but I haven't come across it in my web searches. If YOU find a good quality mangosteen juice that you don't have to buy from a multi-leveling co., please let me know. I'm just interested in getting healthy, not selling someone's product. Best wishes, anne <msadams@...> wrote: Anne are you part of the multi-tiered marketing from Xango? The reason I ask is I came across this webpage when researching Mangosteen and whether it is worth trying or not. http://chetday.com/mangosteen.htm Is anyone else using Mangosteen and what do you really think of it? Is there any truth under the hype or is it as the site implies just another way for people to make money off of other's misery? > Re: [ ] Good bye > > Hi, Jaye. > I understand brain fog and extreme fatigue. Guest guest
I have used Magosteen for several years. I like it and put it in smoothies. I do believe it is useful for inflammation. However it is best used with other natural products. I can say I believe for a fact that it helps. It is expensive if used in the juice form. So I think you could try it but analyze for yourself. It doesn't work overnite so I would say try it for two weeks and see what you think. But again I don't think it would work by itself. Guest guest
I tried Mangosteen Juice for awhile too. I didn't mind the taste. It wasn't great, but it was tolerable. At first, I thought there were some benefits, but later I stopped taking it and didn't see any symptoms get worse. I guess it wasn't doing much after all. I bought mine at Costco -- they seemed to have the best price. Chrisie > > I tried Mangosteen Juice awhile back but it didn't do anything or help me in any way. Guest guest
Hi Liz! I take 2 oz of juice morning, noon, afternoon, and night (8oz total). The company (Xango) only recommends 6oz of juice, morning noon and night, for chronic conditions. However, I found that I needed more to get the relief I desperately wanted. After 4 months, I was able to cut down to 6oz, but I still have to give myself some extra sometimes. Two treatments to break down the mucosa that protects the Lyme and co-infections are Veggie-zyme and Boluoke. Half hour later I take Zithromax and Minocycline. Half hour later, I take a concoction of applesauce and saccro-b, Theralax, Intestinal Rejuive, Intestinal Repair, and Bio-mins. One hour later, I take HMF Toxi and pectin (the HMF Toxi sweeps away toxins while the pectin binds and gels the toxins). I don't have herx reactions, but I do feel better-- the ability to move and breathe and keep a steady heartbeat are miraculous improvements for me. I don't pretend to know if this will work for everyone, and I am well aware of the cunning of this disease. Too many times I've gotten better, just to get worse again. I wish you the best of everything, anne From: Liz <lizgreene52@...> Subject: [ ] Mangosteen Date: Saturday, August 9, 2008, 1:36 PM Sorry to hear about your troubles- glad you are feeling better. Can you tell how you divide up the mangosteen during the day - Do you drink all the 8 oz at once or do you do something else? And can you elaborate on the other alternative treatments you are using and what each is for. > I've tried many alternative treatments and finally built up a tolerance for oral ABX by shaving small portions off the pill, then increasing if I could tolerate it. I went directly to the company he said offered the best product, and although I dislike multi-level companies and the price was steep ($25 a bottle!), I tried it. After taking 8 oz. of juice for 4 days, the shooting pains in my arms stopped. A week later, I could lift my arms above my head and was able to dress myself for the 1st time in a long time. After 4 months, the swelling in all my joints was gone. > It turns out that this juice is the most powerful anti-inflammatory in nature. Guest guest
Hi Anne - Well you certainly take a bunch of stuff that I've never heard of. It will be interesting to research all of this. I tried to look up the brand of Mangosteen that you use and got a glorious website but no label information. I was trying to see how it compared to the Vitamin Shoppe Mangosteen that I found yesterday for about $14.00/32 oz bottle. Plus, they are having a two for one sale in September. Anyway I got a couple of bottles. I have been feeling pretty good for the past couple of days, lots of energy. But I still have that floater in my eye - a constant reminder that the lyme is alive and kicking and waiting for the opportunity to multiply. I have found in both chronic diseases that I am fighting is that how shall I put this without sounding obvious - small improvements are good and add up eventually to a cure, or as good as, even if it takes years. I think you should try to make yourself feel as good as possible before you attempt a herx, because they are truly awful and will make you think you are right back where you started. And what I am finding is that the lyme only divide every three or four weeks, so I should have a week or two more of feeling good and then, probably, all hell will bread loose again, but this time I will be prepared (as much as you can be prepared for feeling & *)* & !). -- In , anne koch <anne_faibrook@...> wrote: > > Hi Liz! > I take 2 oz of juice morning, noon, afternoon, and night (8oz total). Guest guest
Robin- Hi, can you please tell me more about Mangosteen juice? I've heard about it before. I have floaters in my eyes. Where do you buy it, what it comes from, how often you drink, etc. -Sonya Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone with SprintSpeed Re: [ ] Homeopathy- can it work on neuro lyme? Guest guest
Hi - I just answered another post too - I get it from www.vitacost.com - I think they're the cheapest. You could try out a bottle from your healthfood store first, if they carry it. I drink the Ultra brand with 72 minerals added. I drink a 1/2 oz in am and pm. I drank more in the beginning, slowly - read the other post for details. - thx - Robin Re: [ ] Homeopathy- can it work on neuro lyme? Guest guest
Hi to the original poster here you asked about stem cell therapy treatments--I know there are several who use plant stem cell therapy-- Sheehan is one that comes to mind, but if you mean regular stem cell therapy like they are doing now in Mexico, I learned last month that Dr. Klinghardt's clinic in Seattle hopes to be able to offer this to their patients by sometime this fall at a cost 3x less than anywhere else. I've heard currently in Mexico it's 2600 and was given an estimate of $900 by Dr. K's assistant doc. I think you would need to be a patient first too. The other docs there are highly trained by Dr. K and I came away feeling I got alot of help and direction. This therapy uses one's own stem cells taken from a bone in a procedure compared to dental work so there is no ethical problems. Take care! Debbie Re: [ ] Homeopathy- can it work on neuro lyme? Dear Friend, I do hope the appointment with the East coast Lyme doctor on May 5 will begin to give you some relief.
