Guest guest
We were experiencing the exact same thing with chelation....nothing bad, nothing good (except for round #1 when he rode a bike for the first time) I was starting to wonder if it was having any effect at all. I started noticing that my son's obsessions were actually getting worse. I'd heard that fixations, obsessions, and OCD type behaviors were related to viruses (so is having words, then losing them) and I think the chelation was pulling out metals and the viruses were being exposed. I talked to a few people on this board who also thought this might be a possibility. I did the high dose Vitamin A protocol for measles first, and WOW....my son has never responded to anything like that before. This is when he popped up with the words. Literally, in 2 days there was such a change in him that my husband and I were shocked. That motivated me to continue with the viral therapy and we started raising his Vit C and giving OLE and Virastop. Since I started them all at around the same time I can't tell you which seemed to bring about these changes, but the Virastop definetly has had an impact. Each time I raise the dose he gets viral rashes and some gains. I read somewhere that viral treatments like the Vit C, OLE, Lysine, and Virastop can work better when given at the same time (as opposed to only doing one treatment at a time). I believe that chelation and viral treatments go hand in hand for my son. The metal being removed from his body allowes the viruses to be exposed, then the anti-virals can go in and really be effective. I wish you guys the most success in the world, and you'll hear your son call you dad.....it just feels like it takes forever!! Rhapsodist1 <tanveers@...> wrote: Maggie; Congratulations! I feel so happy for you and to hear that your son is recovering. Hearing success stories give so much of encouragement to people like me who have just started chelating (we're going to start round #5 of chelation tomorrow). We have not seen any significant improvement in my son (3.5 years old) but have not seen any regression or side affects; he's tolerating it pretty well. We're following AC protocol. From last week we also started OLE. Maggie, did you start seeing improvement after the introduction of anti viral (OLE, Virastop) or you were seeing improvement after each chelation cycle? I'll keep this forum updated and hopefully one of these days I'll be telling my side of success story. I am desperately waiting to hear my son call me dad Again thanks for sharing your success story and good luck with your son's complete recovery. -TS > > Hi all. I just wanted to give an update and let you all know how things have progressed. Last weekend was the 11th round of DMSA/ALA (25 mgs each) per Andy Cutler protocol. Also, we started viral protocols about a month ago (higher dose Vit C, OLE, and Virastop). > > ------------------------------------ =======================================================

Guest guest
I followed the protocol I found on Dana's page here: http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm I gave my son 400,000 I.U.'s for 2 days (I gave it once, in the morning) and then 25,000 I.U.'s for a few days. He did develop a toxicity rash (very itchy rash all over) so I dropped all Vit A except what he gets in his CLO. All the gains stayed. Guest guest
Unfortunatly, yes, he did have his MMR. In fact, he had all vaccinations until age 3 1/2 including a flu shot. Even after we got the diagnosis we continued to vaccinate. It took a long time to get out of denial, and even longer to start believing in biomedical. I used to think vaccinations had nothing to do with his autism until I realized after each vax he was getting progressivly worse. Vit A is only for measles, but all the other anti-virals are good for all sorts of viruses (whether they be from vaccinations or not) patriciaa_67 <cpand@...> wrote: Maggie, Did your son have the MMR? I'm wondering if hd vit A is only for MMR vaccinated kids or for other viruses as well. Congratulations on your son's response!!!! > > > > > > Hi all. Guest guest
Hi Maggie, May I ask which which form of vit' A you used for the high dose/how much/how often? Vit C- which form/how much/how often? OLE- how much(equal to dry leaf)/how often? Virastop-how much/how often? Donna. Guest guest
Vit A: Ethical Nutrients Mycel Vit A 400,000 I.U.'s for 2 days then 25,000 I.U.'s for 2 months (although we discontinued after just a few days due to toxicity rash....you can read about this protocol on Dana's page http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm) Vit C: Kirkman's Buffered Vit C. We're up to about 10,000 mgs a day but I want to get to around 30,000. I usually put about 2000 mgs in some juice and I try to give it all throughout the day for best absorbtion OLE: Paradise Herbs OLE with 18% Oleuropein.. We started at 500mgs and are now up to 3000 mgs split into 2 doses a day Virastop: I am doing the stair-step approach with this protocol that I read about here http://www.enzymestuff.com/conditionviruses.htm. It's about a 2 month protocol. I started by giving 1 VS 3 x daily and am now up to 7 VS 3x daily . Best advice I was given for this protocol....ADD CANDIDASE!! All of the products I mentioned (except for the Kirkman's Vit C) I get at Whole Foods or another Health food store.
