Guest guest
Hi , I don't don't if this is any interest to you, but my son's initial hair test before chelation showed no mercury and I asked about it on the chelatingkidsaustralia group. I believe though that he could have been exposed through my rho-gamshot, dental mercury, fully vaccinated, but have none of his baby hair to test. I believe a lot of hair tests come back with mercury showing if a child has regressed, whereas it's too late to check for mercury at a later age if were believed to have been born with autism due to heavy metals, especially the ones that tightly bind such as mercury. Here is the response from na: chelatingkidsaustralia/message/2412 Donna. [ ] Hair Mercury QuestionPlz Hello everyone, I have been doing a lot of reading about the hair tests and just ordered Cuttler's book. I received my 4 yr old's hair elements results. I will tr to figure on my own or attempt to post the results here. However, I have one pressing question. Most of what I have read about children with Autism has stated that almost no mercury shows up on these tests. My son is in the yellow. Can anyone tell me what this means? Does it mean he has been exposed to mercury recently? If there is no general answer, I will wait until I can post Thanks! Make the switch to the world's best email. Guest guest
Donna, Thank you so much for your reply. My son did regress after a slow down which began around 10 months. He was fully vaccinated until 7 months when he had his first seizure. We then waited 1 yr to complete the vaccine's. However, he never had the MMR. (He was our first child and we knew nothing about autism.)He continued progressing and then regressing until last yr when he kind of stabilized and now is making progress with ABA and biomedical. What should I do? Would a blood test help if there is " recent " exposure? My other 2 kids (both younger than 2) are NT and no shots except 1 had HIB) I just joined the group you reffered me to so I can view the messgae and get more info. This group is wonderful. Thanks again, > > Hi , > I don't don't if this is any interest to you, but my son's initial hair test before chelation showed no mercury and I asked about it on the chelatingkidsaustralia group. It is fairly common to see little or no mercury coming out, but this is not always the case. If you look through the hair test folder in the files or search archives for hair test results, you will see examples with mercury at various levels. In Andy's book Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities, you will find some example hair test results from autistic children and these, too, show mercury at different levels. http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html -- My son is in the yellow.
