Guest guest
Why / where is it recommended that MS patients only take 3mg LDN?
Guest guest
As far as I am aware it isn't really. The recommended dose is 4.5mg to stop progression but some people can't handle that and have to take less. dsiebenh wrote: > Why / where is it recommended that MS patients only take 3mg LDN? >
Guest guest
Have you read the LDN website? http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ People who have multiple sclerosis that has led to muscle spasms are ADVISED to begin LDN treatment with just 3mg daily and to maintain that dosage. Speaking for myself I would advise get to 4.5mgs asap and find other means to deal with muscle spasms, such as magnesium, epsom salts, etc. I want the most bang for my buck slowing/halting multiple sclerosis from progressing and not risk any setbacks. Of course if things become uncomfortable to the point of considering quitting LDN I would then go down to 3mgs. I also think much of what is on the website needs to be updated/revised. Guest guest
It could be, but a muscle spasm is a bit different from restless leg. More painful, almost like a pulled muscle. This is a pretty good site on restless leg syndrome: http://tinyurl.com/2llbru Here's one for muscle spasms: http://tinyurl.com/6frtw3 Art -- > > Does anyone know if Restless Leg Syndrome is considered a muscle spasm? >
