Guest guest
From What I understand DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is a precurssor for your body to produce its own natural antinflamitory hormones. Taking DHEA may enable one to decrease the ammount of prednisone he or she takes and even be used as a substitute to steroids. How much DHEA do you take?? Or have you found it helpful at all for inflimation? DLPA (DL-Phenylalanine) is thought to have a synergestic effect with LDN. Essentially, DLPA slows down the enzymes that " eat up " endorphins. How much do you take? Can you notice a difference?

Guest guest
I take 500mgs DLPA at 10AM and again at 3PM, all on an empty stomach. DHEA I hesitate to take due to the increased risk of prostate cancer. 7-Keto DHEA is considered safer. Guest guest
Hi Art, > RE: DHEA I hesitate to take due to the increased risk of prostate cancer. > 7-Keto DHEA is considered safer. If you've had or have prostate cancer then it's advisable to NOT use DHEA. However, it actually may be that a low level of the androgen hormones are what contribute to someone getting prostate cancer. I think it's best to have these hormones levels tested and a deficiency determined before supplementing. Jann BTW: 7-Keto DHEA doesn't convert to the androgens -- which does make it safer if that's what you're trying to avoid, but I've not found anything yet that says it provides the same benefit that DHEA provides...??... Guest guest
I have also read that Pregnenalone is a precursor for cortisone in our bodies. One should be careful, I believe, not to take too much. Ten mg. probably tops; I'm not real clear on this though, as I've seen it in 50 mg pills and wonder why it's produced in those dosages if not safe in those dosages. Anyone else heard of this?
