Hello everyone.

I am not yet proficient at posting to messages. I am new to lists, so I hope

this arrives correctly. I have grown scented geraniums, for several years

now and have some experience in using these incredibly aromatic and

therapeutic plants. I have been using the essential oil for many years in my

aromatherapy business, but am now learning how to use the plant.

Unfortunately, I have never had enough plant material to distill into an

essential oil, but I have had some luck at producing a hydrolate or floral

water. The floral water is wonderful to use straight on the skin as a face

toner. It can be added to other herbal infusions for many skin applications

such as toners, creams, lotions, shampoos and hair rinses. The floral water

can also be used to flavor your ice tea, lemonade, or other kitchen delights

like dressings for salads. You are only limited by your imagination. Hope

this gives you some ideas. Most important, have fun.

Namaste,

Kate
