Dmsa lowers neutrophils and neutrophils are needed to fight yeast.

[ ] DMSA and gut issues

Does anyone know why/how oral DMSA disturbs the gut and apparently

exacerbates yeast issues?

Can you explain the role of neutrophils with regards to yeast? I

thought neutrophils were bacteria fighters. My dd has neutropenia and

autism. Thank you

They also protect against fungi.

Ok, then that means you want to avoid the use of DMSA, unless you can get the

neutrophils up. You don't actually need DMSA unless your daughter has lead.
