I just did a search on the list for all the posts having to do with

DMSA and fever. All I was able to find was that fever on a round of

DMSA was usually coincidental to the child catching a virus, not a

sign of neutropenia. But our daughter (4, 43 LB, generally very

healthy) caught a bad cold on the first round and now has a fever on

the second round. Does it sound like she's experiencing an immunity

dip from chelation with DMSA? We came back from the beach and her

fever went up to 101.8 and she fell asleep directly after dinner. Dh

had given her her last evening round before I took her temp.

Otherwise her energy was good most of the day, though she hasn't

pooped since the night before (constipation is her constant foe). Her

twin brother was a bit crankier than usual on this round but

otherwise seems fine (peeing like a race horse, though).

We of course decided to stop this round when we realized she had a

fever. We were on the second day (so she's had two full days and one

night so far) and we're doing low dose/every four hours. We'd

intended to do this for 2.6 days (and nights) and it's been eleven

days since the last round. We're also supplementing with boulardi for

yeast, detox minerals and a multi from Lee Silsby, extra zinc,

enzymes designed for chelation, probiotics and molecularly purified

fish oil caps and a few other typical supps. I add a dash of vitamin

C to rounds during the day.

Our twins are lead, arsenic and mercury toxic and dd battles major

yeast. Any advice, reassurances (or warnings if that's appropriate)

would be helpful.
