Guest guest
Rice and chicken has the arsenic. I was shocked when I heard Dr. Mumper speak about this at the National Autism Association meeting in Charlottesville, VA in May of 2004 or 2005. One of the things that she was so concern about was that many of children were on teh GFCF diet and did a lot of chicken and rice. Arsenic is added to the chicken feed - just google arsenic and chicken and you will be shocked at what you find. Rice is a problem too. Some places around the world the soil is contaminated with arsenic in the soil hence the rice gets it too. ************** Start the year off right. Guest guest
This is horrifying! My husband built my boys a swing set from some type of treated wood last year and we have a deck that they play on. Is there a way to help them detoxify better because it sounds like it is just every where and cannot be avoided. My poor boys! I tore the deck off my house to get rid of the arsenic-treated wood and replaced it with cedar. Guest guest
we have extremely high arsenic also... DAN suggested it comes largely from nonorganic produce (in addition to non organic chicken, and other sources). She told me we had to quit that nasty habit. we're trying, its 30 minutes to Whole Foods so if you forget an onion... or something else for a recipe you're sunk!! Although i'm also thinking those old " telephone poles " that were used in landscaping around our driveway might have been leaking into the soil for the 27 years they were there before we bought the place and started taking them out... Ya think???? I remember that and railroad ties were in vogue in the 70's, I guess you never can really know the exact placement of those things in the past (what if there were more of them in our yard and someone else removed them before we knew about it?) We are going to be testing the water. It's $220 prepaid through the DAN office. (she has to order the kits for us to get the discounted option) $33 to test bacteria, and another $33 to test organics, through the County, but, being the paranoid I am after all the special ed problems I've had and the blatant lies I've encountered, I simply can't trust them to be honest. I scanned the online water results for our area and NONE - not even one - had anything of interest to report going back several years. It seemed suspicious, because there are alot of wells in our area and I have known some people who had to treat (shock) their wells for bacteria or something. The testing showing problems can't possibly all be through private companies... by coincidence only, can it? --- ronnimike <HISSPECIALTOUCH@...> wrote: > No, Mandy, we sure don't ......we don't do much > fruit....the kids get > so yeasty...esp from apples...we just don't... > thanks for the ideas tho.. > Ronni > > > > > > In a message dated 07/01/2008 19:35:28 GMT > Standard Time, > > HISSPECIALTOUCH@... writes: > > > > I am trying to figure out where we are getting > poisoned from > > arsenic > > > > > > >>Do you juice whole apples? If I remember correctly, the study said that babies fed rice milk & children with rice-centric diets had the highest risks.
