Aloe barbadensis is the same as curacao and the are all referred to as Aloe vera and pretty much used interchangeably. Now I just know that this makes the perfectly clear water muddy as all heck. :-) Really what you should be using is ferox (or spicata as it is also known) and barbadensis (cuaracao as it is also known). One each or two each, whichever the Rx calls for. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. This is why they are usually considered as barbadensis. I guess it is just easier to group them under one heading. Only problem with that is you really aren't sure what you are getting. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
