Hi Eibhlin,

Cape aloes are usually ferox or spicata. Aloe barbadensis is the same as

curacao and the are all referred to as Aloe vera and pretty much used

interchangeably. Now I just know that this makes the perfectly clear

water muddy as all heck. :-) Really what you should be using is

ferox (or spicata as it is also known) and barbadensis (cuaracao as it

is also known). One each or two each, whichever the Rx calls for.

Hi Eib,

Don't feel bad. They are two different aloes but with almost the same

actions. This is why they are usually considered as barbadensis. I guess

it is just easier to group them under one heading. Only problem with

that is you really aren't sure what you are getting.
