Guest guest
Folks, I've done 2 rounds of ALA (using 6.25 mg for my 42 lb daughter) and we've got some big time yeast problems as a result. It seems to happen almost right away. I can't believe that the ALA can act so fast and that it can cause so many problems! It has really messed up her system to the point where I will skip ALA on the next couple of rounds because the DMSA alone is positive & there are no yeast effects. When I use it again, I'll cut back the dose. I'm just wondering if people can help me understand exactly what is causing the yeast. Why is ALA problematic for some? I'm sorry, but I don't really understand the mechanics of yeast production with respect to chelation and don't see why the ALA would be such a problem for her. The yeast protocol that I'm using includes biotin, OOO and Candex/Candidase, the latter two which I give her at night with her dose (she doesn't tolerate GSE or OLE). All answers really appreciated.
