Guest guest
How can you know you eliminated Strep? Was it the high strep titres or typical Strep throat infection? Thanks, F > > > Hi Dana, > How much OLE do you recommend? Any idea if it will eventually wipe out Herpes Simplex (cold sore virus) which medical literature says lives forever once one has it. I've been taking OLE morning and evening and ran out for a while and certainly noticed that I need to be on it. I doubled the dose for the first few days when the new order came in. > S S > > I eliminated strep at my house with olive leaf extract. > > Dana > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com > The most personalized portal on the Web! >

At some point, about 2 years into the OLE protocol, it started causing problems and not really appearing to help. I removed it and went to vitamin C, which eliminated a certain set of viruses. But there were several, including cold sores, that persisted. Adding lysine eliminated those, plus a few other things. So my guess is that it suppresses viruses [altho it appeared to eliminate strep without any other supplements added], but vitamin C and lysine is required to eliminate the viruses. My #4 was strep throat, the others were not. After three courses of Zithromax, strep in #4 continued. OLE eliminated the problem. The ped told me the boys would get it, because it was highly contagious, but they were already on OLE and they never got it. On another message board, several parents did have their kids tested after OLE and the strep was gone, so I decided I did not need to test mine. Guest guest
How much OLE would you give a 3 year old 37 pound child?? Do you think it matters if it's the liquid or casule form? I just used OLE and GSE to get rid of a sore throat I've had on and off through 3 rounds of antibiotics - and wasn't taking them again. Sore throat is now gone after 2 rounds of OLE and gargling with GSE. My son has been like a different child over the passed week ago, so I'm wondering if he doesn't have the same sore throat and just doesn't know how to tell me, so I'd like to give this a shot. Guest guest
Thanks, I've been taking 500 mg of OLE twice daily and add lysine when I feel a cold sore beginning. I wonder if I should take lysine on a daily basis. Re: Dana OLE Posted by: " danasview " danasview@... danasview Thu Jan 24, 2008 6:47 am (PST) > Hi Dana, > How much OLE do you recommend? I only used capsules, so I don't know much about the liquid. I would start with 250mg per day and work up as required. Probably would not have to work up too much, for that size child. I wonder if I should take lysine on a daily basis. When I added daily lysine, it eliminated mouth/cold sores, hand warts, and plantar/foot warts. Several rashes came and went. Several wart issues did not even appear, until my kids were on lysine for several months. So there were viruses latent in the body that needed addressing. I would guess that if you are experiencing periodic cold sores, that you either have resident virus that occasionally shows up, or your body is low on lysine so new viruses tend to show up and stay. I would take lysine every day. Dana
