Guest guest
Hi T Oh you've heard about that test too, I've tried it... Again if anybody knows more about the test, you're input would be appreciated...I ask Duncan about it and he did not know about it... From: " obbm_1939 " <tlynne@...> Reply-candidiasis candidiasis Subject: Spit Test Date: Thu, 10 Jul 2003 15:10:48 -0000 Hi, I am new to the group, and have been watching. I have been trying for a over a year to get this figured out and dignosed. My question is: does the " spit in the glass of water test " have a real valid use? Is it a good test for Candidiasis? A couple of days ago I did it for the first time with chlorinated tap water and got no results. Two days later I used de-ionized water and got moderate results after an hour. This morning I wakened up with a bad taste in my mouth, used de-ionized water, and when I spit into the water it became cloudy all over immediately. Thanks for any help, Bill Narby T _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963

Guest guest
The build up in your mouth overnight is the important part off the spit test. That is why you are not supposed to eat or drink anything. Also, 15 minutes later you have already spit out most of what has been there all night. Like a pregnancy test... first urine of the day is the most potent.

Guest guest
Jackie, Thanks for that advice. I've done the test, but I found some of the questions as hard to answer as it is trying to understand the results " spit test " . My score was 126, which means that I probably do have a yeast problem. So I started to look at the diets. I always thought that I had a very simple, healthy diet of broen rice, fish, chicken, eggs vegetables and fruit. No wheat, gluten, dairy, red meat, potatoes, tomatoes, tea, coffee or chocolate. ie. nothing good I really don't know what to do now. There are so many diets that cotradict each other, and my poor, sad brain, scrambled by 25 years of MS, just can't take it all in. Some allow brown rice, some don't etc, etc. I'm beaten before I even start ! Allan [ ] Re: Spit test > > Hi Allan, > > The spit test is not a reliable way to assess whether or not you have > candida. The best test is Dr. Crook's questionaire. Guest guest
Hi Allan, I can understand your confusion and frustration. Before I found Bee's diet I did a lot of research, too. There is sooo much conflicting info out there that it's hard to know where to go and what to do. That said, you can't go wrong by giving Bee's diet a try. She's been through this herself and has been researching candida for some 20 yrs. She herself, tried other programs without success. The program she's put together is the culmination of a lot of trial and error and continuing research. It's comprised of whole foods and nutritional supplements. This diet is a natural healing diet, whether or not you have candida. You can't go wrong by giving it a try. You can find everything you need at a regular grocery store, a health food store and depending on where you live, you may need to order a few things online. We're not selling any special supplements or foods, we're just here to help and offer you the benefit of experience. If you haven't done so, I encourage you to read the articles you were sent when you joined the group. Or, re-read them if you read them before. There are clear steps to follow and a food list, too. Hopefully you'll feel empowered to give the diet a try. Here are links to the articles in case you didn't save them: How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php And, for encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php Bee's website if a wealth of information, too. I encourage you to give it a look and poke around. There's so much to read you can get lost over there! ) If you have questions we're here to help, Jackie > > Jackie, > > Thanks for that advice. > I've done the test, but I found some of the questions as hard to answer as > it is trying to understand the results " spit test " .
