You may want to read this regarding the itching/skin sensitivity.

Anyways, his yeast flared up BAD!! He's got the typical behind the knee

to be scabbed over. Also, his cheeks are bright red. I give him No-

phenols.

This yeast is the worst I've ever seen with him. It's like he's one big

ball of itch. I am stepping up the protocol, but this rash on his tummy

has me stumped. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the link ,

I did think that it might be an itch due to Vit A toxicity as well, but it is

soo typical of his yeast itch. Before starting biomedical treatments he would

itch himself in his sleep, itch himself raw, leave scratch marks, etc.. He

doesn't show any other symptoms of Vit A toxicity, so I'm inclined to drop his

maintanence dose from 25,000I.U. to 10, 000 and see if that does anything. We

also chelated this weekend and I'm wondering if I just put too much on the

plate.

I really appreciate the response.

This is one of the most common results of the high dose protocol.

Interesting. When I did high dose protocol [twice] with my son, I saw

almost no yeast at all.

Is it dry? Look sort of like sandpaper on top of the skin? That was

toxicity rash for my son, it started on the thigh just above the knee.

It sounds very likely like toxicity rash. I had to stop all vitamin

A, and the rash was gone in about a week.

Caution with giving any more maintenance dose. Once my son reached

this point, and his body converted carotenes, I was unable to

supplement even one drop of CLO without causing toxicity again.

My boys get the same rash like you mentioned ... very itchy ... and

this is without any vitamin A. A doctor told me it was ecema (sp?),

but I do wonder if it is yeast or if ecema is somehow related to

yeast. I put a cream on my NT son's stomach for this (just a dry

skin lotion from the allergist) and it seemed to help. Is your

child's skin dry?

yes, very dry skin. Lotion seems to always help. Since starting biomedical his

skin has not been like this. It maked me realize how certain things must be

related. I cut back on the vit A anyways and stepped up the yeast protocol.

That seems to have helped along with the lotion.

Sounds alot like yeast and/or viral symptoms for my girl...coconut

oil rubdowns rule the house during these moments...also use other

oils, walnut & olive are often on hand here & we use these with good

results - Especially for the itching part :)

She also reacts to foods, by getting a rash on her belly...when this

is the case, the rash remains until she " poops it all out. " (birthday

cake last year gave this result for a solid week - not fun, but the

blue icing was a good giveaway/marker for " timing " of her

symptoms..some helpful " aha " moments then)..anyway, in the meantime,

the same oil rubdowns help for this too...

wishing you the best answers

Have you had his thyroid checked, our only symptom of hypothyroidism was dry

skin.

that's an interesting thought considering both my mom and grandma have had

thyroid issues. Unfortunatly, his reg ped has already seen the dry skin and told

me to use lotion. She knows I'm into biomedical and flat out refuses to do

anything she doesn't deem " appropriate " . I'm sure she'd just tell me it was dry

skin.

What do you do for a thyroid issue?

He did have a cupcake on the last Friday before spring break, but usually his

food issues are apparent within hours. The cupcake had bright colored sprinkles

and I literally watched his hands go from normal to the claw like clench he used

to get. Boy I sure know he can't have anything artificial!

Where do you get the coconut oil?
