It doesn't meet counting rules, but the essentials are very low.

Certainly not a normal hair test result. Chelation may help.

Older kids take longer so you have a long road ahead. If you have

chelated on other protocols in the past, this also makes it harder.

The low Na/K ratio suggests a thyroid problem. He probably needs

some Armour. Serum thyroid tests are more informative, get free T3,

free T4, TSH.

He needs more more zinc, molybdenum, magnesium and would probably

benefit from more vitamin C, E - those are just a few I noticed.

Many of these need to be given 3-4 times per day, especially vit C,

B, minerals. See the supplement file for recommended supplements

and dosing.

I've commented on this one elsewhere.

His hair test also looks abnormal, despite not meeting the counting

rules. Supplementation can make hair tests look more normal and

that may be what is happening with all these tests. He also has a

possible thyroid problem and blood tests will give you more

information.

Yes, she meets counting rule 1. She has a possible adrenal sign.

It is not quite there (Ca and Mg are not close together), but you

may want to consider whether she needs some adrenal cortex - if

she has anxiety, poor response to stress, then she does.

Low hair cobalt does not mean they have low B12 levels. Lots of

kids do well with B12, though. If you want to try it, stick with

sublingual.

Your other kids are not putting much essential or toxic elements

in their hair. That doesn't mean they don't have them, you just

aren't seeing an accurate representation of toxics in their hair.

Don't worry about the tin, it will go away when you get rid of

the mercury.

I would try chelating all of them. You can try ALA alone, you

may want to include DMSA or DMPS to help suppress side effects.

The 13yo, 9yo, and 5yo have the " all low " appearance to their

tests. Improving stomach acid levels is helpful in this case.

I would try giving ascorbic acid with meals and add some betaine

hcl as tolerated.

Thank you... a couple more questions if I could...

The 9yo is supposed to get braces. He has a space between two big

teeth that is closing up & there's a tooth needing to get up, so

they want to do a spacer, along with the braces. They are pushing

for this, saying that his mouth is already messed up so it needs to

be done quickly.

If he has a spacer & braces we cannot chelate, is that right?

If we decide to chelate first, how long to make a " dent " so to

speak, in a 9yo, so that we can get this spacer in for a while

anyway?

Also, being 3 of them have a bit of lead (still in green but there),

is DMSA preferred for them or will DMPS work too ?

If I cannot get much, if not any, more supps into the 2yo & possibly

the 5yo either, is chelation a problem with present supplementation?

(it is almost impossible to get much into the 2yo)

Thanks again...

He has fillings, but no amalgams (nothing silver). The others have

Just to be clear, they should be tooth-colored fillings.

Amalgams aren't always silver, they can turn dark or black.

They're white; composites... some type of plastic I believe?

My 2yo hardly eats any wet foods. He's getting picky about his goat

yogurt in the AM too lately, which is a disaster if he stops eating

as that's the only way I'm getting any supps into him right now. I

can maybe slip something into some applesauce one more time in the

day, but 3-4 times I just don't know how I'm gonna find a way to get

it into him. Even with some force he just spits things out. He

cannot be reasoned with & is non verbal.

Anyone have a little one like this?

We used to reward our little one with anything that made him laugh,

i.e. funny dances, funny faces, etc., but I can see how that might

not work for a lot of people.

Entertaining didn't work for us, ours was very anorexic. My lowest point came

when she was three and I found myself feeding her ice cream for breakfast just

to get something in her stomach.

Although chelation cured this permanently, here are some of the things that

helped. Zinc at weight + 20 mgs perked up her appetite a bit. Lots of probiotics

also helped, lots and lots. I hate to mention thiamine (lol) B1, but this also

helped, particularly in the Benfotiamine form.

We got smart and started putting raw egg yolks and some fruit in her morning ice

cream, without her seeing, of course. Use whatever you can to get some food down

him that he won't react to. Luckily we didn't have any food restrictions, so

sometimes we used eggs, bananas and chocolate syrup in the ice cream.

Sounds bizarre but when you get desperate, you do what you have to.

We fed her every single bite of food until she was 4 1/2, taking turns. We

thought we would have to go to kindergarten at lunch time and feed her but with

chelation, this stopped forever.

I sympathize, I know how hard this is.

We used to reward our little one with anything that made him laugh,

i.e. funny dances, funny faces, etc., but I can see how that might

not work for a lot of people.

Mine was the same....could go days without eating, and I would have to feed him

in order to know he was eating anything at all. I too had a moment where I

realized I was giving him freakin' cookies in the morning just so I knew he

wasn't starving!!!!!!

My son would drink things though, so I started putting protein and high

calorie subtitutes in his drinks. In the days before removing milk Nestle's

Instant Breakfast was my best friend. I wonder if there is a gf/cf version you

could put in a milk substitute?

Hi I read where you wrote Thaimine can help Anorexia; so very true.

Actually " anorexia is a hallmark sign of a Thiamine Deficieny.

so that is not funny that Thiamine can acutally reverse Anorexia;

Anorexia is a disease which produces malnuttriton; premature aging;

osteoporisois etc.

)wrote) I hate to mention thiamine (lol) B1, but this also

helped, particularly in the Benfotiamine form.

so i was just thinking; i guess i am a real joke on this fourm;

beciae I know you think it is me that is " funny

you would never think a vitamin which reverses anorexia is funny. A.

(I had anorexia myself and beleive me anoriesxia is no joke )

You can chelate with braces as long as you don't have nickel allergy.

Just be super especially sure both to GET A SECOND OPINION ON HOW TO DO THE

BRACES

FROM ALTERNATIVE DENTISTS, and that there is no amalgam fillings and none get

placed

in the process of putting in the braces.
