We have left two pediatricians now because of not getting the help we needed for our two boys with autism. The first one was so extremely closed minded - a man- and old school. I just could not feel comfortable talking with him anymore because of the way he approached my boys delays and telling me there was " nothing " that could be done. I did not expect anything from her. She also told me that there was nothing that could be done. I had a DAN doctor, well I should say DAN doctors because I saw more than one. The only thing nice she did was to prescribe blood work (CBC, metabolic panel) when he was chelating. I kept seeing her for his annual check-up. That's it. But when my son got better, she was curious to know what I had been doing.
Guest guest
Did your son have issues with yeast while using this chelation protocol? What did you use for yeast? How did you give him the DMSA/ALA? Did he take capsules or did you have to mix it in something? ferdeson <ferdeson@...> wrote: > > > , > > What type of chelation did you use? What was the product. Just curious.....since he was so young. Andy's protocol. Oral DMSA for three months, then oral DMSA and oral ALA for two years or so. Most of the time we were on 3 days on, 4 days off, dosage of 1/4 mg per pound, every 2 1/2 hrs during the day and 3 hrs at night. We tried a few things, in term of dosage and frequency, and that what worked best for him. Dana and Garrett, 3 years old SCD 1 1/2 years!!!!! GSE, Kirkman yeast aid, candex, oil of oregano, tons of probiotics... > How did you give him the DMSA/ALA? Did he take capsules or did you have to mix it in something? I mixed it in pineapple juice and kept it half a day in the fridge.
