Guest guest
OK, now that is making things clearer now.... My son took 6 pills of DMSA on Sunday, for a urine test for mercury and urine organic acid test. He was so good that day, doing things, he could tolerate being next to his 2 1/2 year old brother.... He was just so different. It lasted about 2 days.... Than I could see him going back to his old self... Not sleeping, having his melt downs, etc.,. and than there is last night. OH my God! he had a few melt downs, he kept going after his little brother with the look of kill in his eyes... I had to give him his GABA,, Taurine, Melatonin and Tenex and he would not drink it at first so I had try a few times. He wanted all the lights out and TV's off and he went to sleep around 9:00pm and slept until 7:30 am today. He did not seem to happy when he got up, But by 8:05am and his Gaba etc.. He was somewhat OK, I just hope he don't have a meltdown in school again the last time they locked him out of the school. Thanks, for the information that must be what he is going thru now. I will just have to wait and see what is next...... His test did not go right so we have to repeat it in 2 weeks ... So I guess I will know what is coming again. Thank you, Janice/Mikey 15 y/o </HTML>
Guest guest
I had the exact same reaction to a DMPS challenge test. Felt great at first, then got progressively worse with the same-- could not tolerate any stress, noise, people, sleep issue's and much more. That's why A/C's chelation protocol for low dose/continous 3-4 days makes perfect sense to me now. The challenge test pulls alot out at once and then it gets redistibuted. Same thing happens to me when I consume foods high in sulphur. > I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. My son went to > his first > > Dan appointment. Guest guest
Janice, I think something isn't clear to you yet. The behaviours that people see after challenge tests aren't just coming out of nowhere. They are a result of mercury and other highly toxic metals redamaging a person. It's like allowing a doctor to reinject your child with mercury. None of us would allow that. Mercury and the other metals that get pulled during chelation are just as toxic as when they were first put inside our children. Moving them around without excreting them is a dangerous thing to do, especially as mercury has an affinity for fat places like the brain. Challenge tests give us very little useful information and most of us here don't believe they are worth the risk. If your son seems to do better while on DMSA and you believe him to be mercury toxic, why not simply start chelating with Andy's protocol, which is safe, and see how your son is doing after 10 rounds or so? If you would like to run tests to confirm things, consider a hair test or a porphyrins test. Neither will hurt your child and can give you helpful information. Be sure to look at the supplements that Andy recommends during chelation. You can find them at the end of the supplement file in the files section. My own experience chelating has taught me that chelating without proper supplementation is not comfortable or pleasant. Best, Anita > > > OK, now that is making things clearer now.... The redistribution often happens some time after the person stops taking the chelator. I hope you won't let the doctor repeat this. Next time could be much worse (as many people have reported). I had > to give him his GABA,, Taurine, Melatonin and Tenex and he would not drink it > at first so I had try a few times. Check with other members of the group for supplements that will help to prevent meltdowns. My first thoughts are adrenal cortex extract, other adrenal support supplements, and a diet consisting of frequent snacks, protein at every meal and snack, no sugar (to attempt to keep blood sugar levels as constant as possible. It is when blood sugar drops that the adrenals are called on to make glucose available for the brain and weak adrenals can't do it - just ask mine!! - when there is not enough glucose making it to the brain a meltdown happens) > Thanks, for the information that must be what he is going thru now. I will > just have to wait and see what is next...... His test did not go right so we > have to repeat it in 2 weeks ... Oh, no, please!! As an adult who has felt the consequences of redistribution I beg you please don't do this to a child. Besides the torture that the test will put the child and you through, the redistribution could cause permanent damage and make appropriate chelation much more difficult in the future. If you want to confirm metal toxicity just get and inexpensive, non invasive DDI essential elements hair test through www.directlabs.com And, seriously think about anything this doctor suggests. He obviously does not know how to look out for the best interests of this child. J So I guess I will know what is coming again. > > Thank you, > > Janice/Mikey 15 y/o > > </HTML> > > >
