Guest guest
Some might remember when I wrote about my dd (5-1/2) last week. To recap, she was given her first ever dose of ALA, appx 10mg, & got very ill from it. Threw up, low grade fever, lethargic, cold then warm & clamy, etc. She hadn't eaten since breakfast but then perked up toward the end of the day & had some dry gfcf cereal. She gets various supplements including a good yeast protocol. She was fine by that evening & especially the next day; everyone else was well, including the others on ALA. So it was definitely a reaction to the ALA (again, first ever dose; no protocol issues with this reaction). I ended that round because of the terrible reaction. Most people wrote to try again next time but use a lower dose, maybe 5mg. Others felt it may be yeast. Ever since that reaction she's been beyond difficult to deal with. She has issues, many behaviorial to begin with, but has become a terribly difficult, disobedient, obstinate, defiant child. She even looks for ways to disobey at times & is really nasty. I'm not sure whether to " try again " now at all. What is going on with her? Anyone, help?? I'm worried ( & very tired & burnt out with this behavior). Thanks, Michele Thanks, Michele
