Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: melindafaith2005 UTI Melinda, Ours had many UTI's before we found d-mannose, it's an extract of cranberries, it's actually a concentrated form of what works in the cranberry. This and a good multi solved the problem for us and we've not had one of these in 3 years. I've also heard Uva Ursi was good for UTI's. Did mean mycoplasma? This has been going on for approx. two years with my 4 & 1/2 year old neurotypical son. For many months we thought it was yeast die-off or perhaps potty training issues. Than when he started getting wet all the time we knew something was up. Everything comes up clear when we have had urinalysis done. Our local pediatrician says its anxiety. It is not. Our ARNP ( A) thinks he has a microplasm, which are hard to get rid of and sometimes don't show up. Early on he responded well to Zithromax but it never cleared it up completely. He is currently on 1000mg of OLE three times a day, 50mg of Oil of Oregano three times a day, Colon Guard from Pharmax which has garlic and cinnamon twice a day and SPS from Theramedix 1 capsule three times a day. He is also taking cranberry capsules three times a day and of course probiotics. We recently had him down to only two accidents a day and I think I missed a dose and the accidents are flooding back and he is in pain. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good pediatric urologist in the Midwest and what might we try until we get in. Thanks, Melinda
Guest guest
, thank you for your suggestions. In reviewing correspondances she suggested that the response to the antibiotic supports the theory of a mycoplasm possibly being part of the cause. My son is on a multi- vitamin and mineral along with other supps but not d-mannose. Isn't that in Mannatech products? Thanks, Melinda mycoplasm > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: melindafaith2005 > UTI > > Melinda, > > Ours had many UTI's before we found d-mannose, it's an extract of cranberries, it's actually a concentrated form of what works in the cranberry. Vital Nutrients makes a stand alone d-mannose product and that is the one we used. Guest guest
IMO Reduce the SPS from Theramedix because this is a stong enzyme so only one tablet a day is needed; too much can deplete nutrientes. then I would add Vitamin B6 10 mgs. or so a day; with Green Tea extract or Green Tea made yourself; use DeCaff green tea for children. Keep doing the cranberry and pro biotics; reduce salt intake. No articifal drinks; artifical colros flvors; NO MSG or chinese food.- -- In , " melindafaith2005 " <melindafaith2005@...> wrote: > > This has been going on for approx. two years with my 4 & 1/2 year old > neurotypical son. Try dropping the cinnamon one [that caused similar problems here] and maybe add some biotin, see if that helps. >>We recently had him down to only two accidents a > day and I think I missed a dose and the accidents are flooding back and > he is in pain. You missed a dose of what? Dana

Guest guest
Cinnamon caused pain and feeling of having to " go " all the time the one time it was tried here. Never tried it again, very unpleasant experience. The rest of the things sound okay.
