I only really have two comments that might be helpful. I eventually got my son up to 15 Virastop caps per day [5 caps 3x per day], along with 3000mg OLE 3x per day. My son was on OLE for 2 years and Virastop for the second year of that. I did notice improvement, but eventually it started causing problems [even with yeast control], so I removed it. Then I added high doses of vitamin C [required carnitine for proper absorption] and lysine. These two things eliminated even more viruses, plus they are what was required to keep new viruses from going into the brain. Do you give vitamin C and lysine also? Guest guest
If there is anyone who may have experienced a similar pattern while dosing virastop I would appreciate some feedback to compare with. Im hoping to get a better picture in what we may be seeing hopefully wrap up our trial and return to chelation at full speed. Yes im considering keeping both but right now im at a crossroad if the VS /OLE is doing much of anything for us. We are currently reducing VS dose and noting if any response. (Pretty much just holding at a maintenance dose) Thanks please take a look at original post and consider sharing some of your experience Thanks again Kenny v We have been doing OLE/ Virastop for well over 3 months now. We started with Just OLE working up to a maintenance dose than added VS after a few weeks. We started slowly with one cap of VS increasing 1-2 caps per day (as suggested) worked up to NOW 5 caps 3x's daily. We increased slow and steady and tried to note/ apply in a stair step pattern. Still to date haven't seen anything As we continued we did see some increase of yeast in the beginning only but that's about it. We have noticed some little stuff. But not sure it's been a viral response? ? So pretty much nothing I can say for sure or anything that would resemble or show signs of viral response from anything I have read. I can't say for sure that my kiddo is a responder or a viral kiddo. Other than he does not get sick nor have yet to entertain a viral protocol. In My notes D mentions that some may not experience that until they hit a higher therapeutic dose around 15-20, caps She also mentions 12-15 caps in another Virastop overview. Well we hit 15 for a week so far and didn't see anything. So right now not sure as to what to do?? . Keep increasing to get to that number 20 caps? (We are now up to 5 caps 3times daily) or start reducing and note any possible regressions? That's what I have decided but still like to hear what you all think. Or if anyone had similar experience? Again till now im stumped because we haven't much of any response/ a wow or anything that would resemble viral activity. Could we be missing something? … Did any one have to go to 20 caps till you saw something when 15 did not note anything? D also mentions holding at a lower dose, however when nothing more is noted as you up the dose but not sure what to do if not much is noted at all? What im trying to figure out is if I slowly reduce than stay at holding point says (3 caps 3 times daily for 3 more weeks) Total of 4 months. Keep reducing , stay with it at least another month or so and not much of anything is noted would you say we exhausted this trial ? Appreciate your experience thank you so much Kenny V > > > > Hello fellow listmates I could really use your take on this one. > Wanted to post a few weeks ago but was not sure till we had a better > idea how current protocol was going. snipp.... Guest guest
Dana yes thanks We have been giving plenty of Vit C for a long time 3-6 grams daily all throughout chelation/ antiviral protocols No lysine as have never suspected the herpes virus/. never had cold sores or the like And still to date have not seen a viral response manifest it self in any way. I know there are many ways about this just figured the VS/OLE/ High dose C would tell us something if in fact we might have a viral kiddo. Again by gut feeling id say no…he's been a chelation responder from the get go. He never had or became ill, no antibiotics or ear infections ever. Didn't have a direct vaccine reaction that we aware of, Just slowly drifted away from us however we are about 85- 90% there. Just trying to cover the bases in case we may have missed something. Thanks again for all your help over the years Kenny v > > Did any of you have to go to 20 caps till you saw something? > > D mentions holding at a lower dose ,however when nothing more > > is noted as you up the dose but not sure what to do if not much is > > noted at all. > > > I only really have two comments that might be helpful. > > I eventually got my son up to 15 Virastop caps per day [5 caps 3x per > day], along with 3000mg OLE 3x per day. Guest guest
> No lysine as have never suspected the herpes virus/. never had cold > sores or the like At my house, lysine eliminated mouth sores, warts in various places, heel cracks [this also required folic], plus increased language and eliminated the last of the visual stims and hand flapping. > And still to date have not seen a viral response manifest it self in > any way. Are you seeing any increased yeast? That is almost a sure sign of viruses. In the beginning, I did not see anything until I tried to *remove* the anti-viral [i was using OLE at the time] and my kids seriously regressed. >>Just slowly drifted away from us however we are about 85- 90% > there.
