Guest guest
Hi , Once I had two bad colds, back to back. Thought I wouldn't live over the second one but did. Then, I felt a third one coming on, fever and aching, and knew no way could I live over a third one. I rummaged around in a drawer where I kept herbs and pills, long before I knew much about these things, and found a brand new unopened bottle of Echin-Gold from a company in CO. I have no idea where it came from but recognized the names of the herbs and ignoring the label advice, took 3 or 4 every hour for several hours and again in the morning for two or three times. The cold backed off and I did this any time I felt a cold coming on for years. I had no colds for maybe 5 years until the company closed down and I ran out. The ingredients were Echinacea, Golden Seal, Burdock root and Ginger. Guest guest
Little Brockie has come down with something nasty; high fevers off and on and a terrible cough. He won't eat a thing but is drinking juice like each cup is the last cup he's getting. So far Children's Echinacea has been keeping it from getting worse. Can't say it's getting BETTER but I'll take what I can get! When I'm sick, total tonic and echinacea is what I use. If its a cold, I add garlic to the mix. Works for me! Too bad all those things taste terrible and will NOT make it into Brock's mouth for longer than a milisecond! Candace -----Original Message----- From: " oldglory@... Your supertonic should still be good. If you used straight ACV it'll be good. Potent but good. Add in a little scullcap to help you relax too. A little cayenne to go with it. Hope you get better soon. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
I went to the dr. today and said it was the flu. I've got tylenol with codeine (to help with the chest pain and coughing) and an albuterol inhaler for the wheezing. I had the flu a couple weeks ago. I had the chest thing, throat thing, all of it except a fever. I nursed myself with all the tonics and herbal tinctures, but saw a quantum leap forward when I started taking Osha. It is an herb that tastes like turpentine. I put a dropperful in some water and drank it twice a day and then basically slept as much as I could. I was very impressed with the Osha. I got the idea from an article by a holistic veternarian who gives Osha to cats for respiratory problems and swears it works every time. I didn't make the tincture myself. I had bought a bottle at an herb farm last summer and just stashed it in a cabinet in case I ever needed it. Gloria
