You are right that diet is a huge undertaking. & nbsp; We are just in the

transitioning phase from SCD to Body Ecology Diet. & nbsp; My boys have been SCD

for two years and that was huge in itself. & nbsp; So, hopefully the transition to

BED won't be as much of an adjustment. & nbsp; What we started with is the Young

Coconut Kefir several times per day and I am already seeing improvments. & nbsp;

Then I have also worked to make sure their food is properly combined (such as no

starches with proteins) so that digestion will go easier. & nbsp; We are working

our way toward the fermented veggies. & nbsp;

& nbsp;

The Kefir has been wonderful and fresh juiced cabbage on an empty stomach is

also supposed to be very healing to an inflammed digestive tract. & nbsp;

& nbsp;

My advice is to start with the kefir and work your way slowly from there.

Just wondering... how do you get pinworms and what do they look like? Thanks!

[ ] Re: Parasites Keep Coming Back!

I thought it was yeast overgrowth a while ago. But then I started

seeing the eggs and the odd pinworm in her poop. She also gets weird

in the evening, just wacky when she has them. She does have yeast too,

but I know the parasites are still there.

I am considering the Body Ecology diet, but wow it's a huge endeavor!

I am hoping that chelation will eventually eliminate this. I read that

when there's yeast, there is most likely parasites.

& gt; & gt; I know immediately that she has them again because she eats her hands,

& gt; & gt; plays with her tongue, stares at lights and itches her bum. She also

& gt; & gt; verbally stims and visually stims when she has them. Right now she is

& gt; & gt; doing all of these things.

& gt;

& gt;

& gt; Are you sure it is parasites? Those symptoms meant yeast overgrowth

here.
