Extra day of DMSA alone after completing round of DMSA/ALA?

I just read on Mothering.com that if you do at least another day of DMSA alone

(after you have done the 72 hours of DMSA/ALA) it helps with the redistribution

of metals in the organs. Also it lessens side effects between rounds.

Is this true?
