Guest guest
Hi, I am back to chelation again. I started chelation back in 2002-2005 on my son Jack with good results in many areas, but by 2005 he seemed to become cadmium toxic. This was noted by his hair test. He also started with seizures and growth problems in 2005. I became very nervous about chelating him so we started on another path for a while. Recently, my younger son whom I chelated for a short time,at 18 months, started having problems at school, attention and short term memory problems. So I started chelating him with good results in athletics, social skill and school work. Finally, I started having symptoms of fine hand tremors so I started chelating myself and taking adrenal cortex. The tremors are almost gone, but I was experiencing back pain during cycles until I added B1 to my supplements while on a cycle. I also have been taking a little baking soda with dosing to make sure my urine is above a ph of 7 with the hope that the cadmium will clear my body. I also started chelating my son with autism again and the first round went well. My questions are should everyone take baking soda with chelation? Also if I am following Andy's ALA & DMSA protocol and have added in baking soda and b1, should I be removing camium? Anyone else with cadmium problems? Thanks for any advice, nne
Guest guest
I don't know if everyone SHOULD do it - it is not believed/expected to help except for cadmium - but it is not going to hurt as long as it isn't mixed in with the DMSA and stored that way for any significant length of time. For those on sodium restriction it may be too much sodium, they could use magnesium or calcium carebonate.
