A doc said it was due to some food allergy and was the result of too much gas. She brought me around to the vegan way of eating, but it's not the health aspects of that which motivate her. Now I'm trying to bring her around to eating healthier. She seems to have been born a confirmed junk food junkie. Both Cara and I get the side cramps when we start to run -- so the only time we can go running is first thing in the morning before even a drink of water. I was reading on some runner's site that this problem was solved with an all raw diet.
