Guest guest
Hi. Yes it can seem scarey at first. Just make sure you read all the files and ask lots of questions. Getting him on the supplements recommended while chelating in the supplements file ( bottom ) is pretty important. We saw gains just doing that. My son is 20/months old and non-verbal so I understand your fear but dont let that keep you from doing what needs to be done to heal your son. At least really eductae yourself on the protocol. Dont rush into anything which can be hard not to do sometimes. My son has only done 4 rounds so far but other than more frequent BM's during chelation and a few small side effects ( so far ) things are going great. I am no longer fearful..just hopeful and determined. [ ] chelation without a doctor? I got my son's hair test from DDI back and along with being toxic in several metals he meets on of the counting rules for mercury (part 3 - 11 or less in " normal " range). It is in a file marked Dylan's Hair Test if anyone would like to comment. Anyways, his DAN! dr treats chelation like it's something we should do " sometime in the future " she's really vague about when and I feel chelation would clearly help my son and the metal is clearly contributing to his autism. We have been doing a yeast and bacteria protocol and his other tests show his body is heavily oxidized. She also says he has inflammation in his brain. My point is that I feel all these things are directly related to the metal load in his system and instead of continuing to put band-aids on it, I'd like to address the root cause. Clearly I would have to do this without her help and that frightens me ( a bit) . Has anyone here chelated without a doctor's help? It wouldn't worry me so much if I was only using ALA but I think he needs DMSA to get rid of the other stuff as well. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Since chelation is most effective on younger children, this wastes valuable time. Most everyone who chelates regrets not getting started sooner. My point is that I feel all these things are directly related to the metal load in his system and instead of continuing to put band-aids on it, I'd like to address the root cause. Even if she said go ahead she wouldn't come home with you and give the chelators. We got dismissed from our first dans! practice because we wouldn't do the diet as it made ours worse. It was the best thing that could have happened to us as I'm sure she would have suggested the high inappropriate DAN! dosing of the chelators. We found this group, chelated and ours is now, totally typical, in a regular first grade with no aide doing very well both academically and socially. We just read and read until we were more afraid of leaving the metals in than we were of chelating. I can only offer you our experience and to wish you good luck, but in my opinion you can keep the dr to do any testing you need and rx things, but many, many have had to take things into their own hands and chelate. . Has anyone here chelated without a doctor's help? It wouldn't worry me so much if I was only using ALA but I think he needs DMSA to get rid of the other stuff as well. You can buy DMSA without a doctor rx if you want, altho I was not comfortable with DMSA because of potential issues it can cause. But ALA worked very well at my house.
