Guest guest
quick thought..what about phytic acid/related phytic(s)? Sounds like you might have a rather largish amount in your diet...it could be interfering with absorbtion. wishing you the best answers elizabeth > > I guess I am a bit dense...but I have a question that I can't seem to > understand. Guest guest
Nope not here...all grains and legumes are soaked at least 24 hrs here, including split peas...am not sure what the issue is..but I don't think that is it....been working on lectins and phytic acid for over a year now. Don't see a lot of changes...but I imagine it would show if we quit....and since it is just my time and effort...at this point...why bother... Thanks for posting for me. Well, as one example, my son needed over a year of carnitine, as high as 2000mg 3x per day. He needed 3000mg 3x per day lysine for quite a few months. There is no way he could have obtained that high of a dose, even if he ate an entire cow per day for a year! > I keep wondering if there is a precursor or something or why we aren't > getting them from our diet...the taurine I understand as it mostly > comes from eggs...but the rest kinda leave me wondering. Some of the aminos are " non-essential " , meaning they can be converted from other aminos. And some are required to be eaten, they can't be converted. > Also we eat a lot of oatmeal...most breakfasts includes a big > bowl...for the kids that is usually around 2 cups cooked...big > eatters. Do you take any other supps that require magnesium for proper absorption? I remember you giving a lot of biotin, that requires magnesium. And so do EFAs. And a few other things.
