You've already made the best, biggest step you ever could! You realized a change was needed, and are willing to do it! Good for you!!

I am sure that others more wise will pipe up, but I would suggest at least starting out with water. Lots of water, with lemon in it. Whether you feel thirsty or not. I heard on the list recently that half of your body wieght in ounces per hour. I drink a LOT more than that. It will help clear out your lymph system, and bolster your gallbladder as well. It's an easy baby step.

Eat fruit & veggies, fresh and organic, for snacks. Nibble on an orange, or carrot sticks between meals.

Here's a gross one: pay attention to your poop and pee. If your poop is hard and sinks, or comes out painfully, increase your water and veggies. Too runny? Add some rice and sprouted grains. Your pee? Is it nice and yellow or clear, or is it orange? If it is orange, increace veggies that have more protien. Stuff like that.

Remember, even baby steps are steps forward!!!

Peace

Well, I had a bit of an epiphany yesterday. I'm tired of being overweight. I'm tired of being unhealthy and I'm tired of feeling my daily stresses on my body. So...time's up! I need to spend more time on myself this year, after assessing 2004 and health is the best point to start right now. Then, I can work on emotional, mental and spiritual sarah anne. Now before Don goes jumping up and down in excitement...this will be a veeerrryyyy slow process for me. :) But...I need to at least get myself detoxed and cleaned out and begin to lose weight.I'm wondering what Y'all think the best first few steps would be to take to get this ball rolling? I've already begun exercising, which to me, is one of the biggest things that I need to do.I'm just curious as to some FIRST BABY steps that I can take with

myself, to really get me on the right track, SOLIDLY before I make any huge huge huge attempts at shifting the way we all live in my home. I, at least, need to get my act together. Thanks all, for always being so supportive.Yours in love and health, Anne__________________________________________________

Well, ... the first place to start is tell us what your "bad" foods are... the ones you seemingly can't do with out.... like chocolate, sugar, dairy, etc...

start eating more veggies, fruits, salads, etc... juicing is also very good...

2-3 day or more juice fasts will help... these you can start doing now before you master cleanse... it will make life a bit easier on the cleanse... lots of lemon water..... flush your system.. All these baby steps will help you do the MC much better and easier...

Detox baths... can be relaxing and beneficial.
