I started my daughter's chelation when she was at the tail end of a cold with no adverse effects whatsoever other than a couple of mild symptoms on the 1st day that are commonly associated with chelation. I did give a little more Vit C than required during that first round though. I've often read others here post that they've chelated while their children had colds.
