There are plenty of recipes that are yummy and wonderful.... Pick out some recipes... start with simple ones... like snacks, desserts... if you're family tastes them and likes them... you may find it easier... or if like my DH.. I don't tell him what is in the food... lol... A meat and potato kind of guy... but he does like salads..

I made mashed potatoes the other day at the kids... real potatoes of course, but I added some sweet potatoes to it... gave it a yellowish/lt orange coloring... however... I blamed it on those new potatoes with the butter in them.. (LOL)... if I had told the DH or the son there were sweet potatoes in it they would not have eaten it... as it was, they raved about the mashed potatoes... They liked them and I got something into their bodies... I do this alot with the pulp from super tonic and the pulp from juicing etc.... I add it things they don't realize they are getting herbs, etc. I once made tacos and used a meatless recipe... DH didn't realize there was no meat... pretty sneaky huh? I made stuffed mushrooms one nite... He wasn't thrilled with them but he did eat them... so just surprise your family with things... don't just totally "dump" it on them.... here and there, little by little you'll have

them switched... or pretty much so... unless they are die hards... then you have to do what you can ...

As for you... sounds like the biggest thing is sweets and not enough water.. measure your water out per day if this will help... set glasses or bottles around where you'll see them ... always makes me drink more..

Suzi,I NEVER burn my meat. I nearly would rather eat it raw to tell you the truth!!! (as an ex of mine once said.."dehorn it and send it out")I guess my main concern is meal preparation. I thoroughly enjoy cooking, as it is a stress releif for me. Something about providing for my family and creating things that are wonderful. I worry about cooking meals for the family that they will also find appealing, as they HATED my soy and fake meats. I do very little dairy as it is. I don't drink milk, and i eat VERY LITTLE cheese, although i wish i could eat blocks of it a day! :) The only thing I do eat is yogurt. I LOVE it. I'll be doing some shopping this weekend, for sure.I really really appreciate the help and support here. I hope you all know just how much. This will

be such al ong process for me, and i do know that i'll need a lot of hand holding. I apologize in advance...but also thank you all in advance as well.sarah
