I am going to have to defer to the experts on that. I have always

given enzymes before meals and zinc with his other supplements

after. Perhaps Anita, who put together the Supplements file, can

chime in?

Madhuri,

If you give the zinc and DPP-IV enzyme together, the enzyme won't be

working well, if at all. I would start giving the zinc on an empty

stomach. Many of our kids seem to rely a great deal on the function

of the DPP-IV enzyme.

Giving zinc on an empty stomach resulted in serious nausea, here.

This never makes sense to me, either. If everybody has this enzyme, the DPP-IV

and they eat foods with zinc, it doesn't kill the enzyme. So why would it be

different if you were giving them?

reading on onibasu and Andy seems to recommend zinc with meals.
