Guest guest
Hi Everybody. We had tried spironolactone(aldactone) for more than a month before. It was able to increase the focus of my 4 yr old child(22kgs), more cooperative, less stimming and more expressive. It however increased the creatinine(though urea is ok)level as well as the AST(liver) level. AST had an upper limit of 40 while my son's was 48. We're ask to stop for a month and do the test again. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before the blood draw, my son got sick and had to be given antibiotic. The results of the test were a little bit lower than the previous. We're are being asked by our DAN doctor to give spironolactone again for a month and take the liver and kidney function test again. We're a little bit worried that we want to know if anyone can suggest a liver support(we're ask by our DAN to give milk thistle)to add to milk thistle and a kidney support supplement. Thanks and God Bless. -richard-
