Guest guest
He would still get sick. that would still be an elephants dose. My 140 pound 12 year old is on 12.5 mg for rounds. She can go up to about 25 mg safely by weight. No more. 1/8-/12mg per pound is the range. I have taken 12.5 and 25 myself..it's powerful stuff and I would never take 100mg or 1500mg. I also would never recommend giving a one time dmsa dose just to measure urine metals. All you will do is pull a bunch of metals loose and leave nothing to mop them up. What would make more sense, is to just take a urine sample towards the end of a round of chelation on a sensible dose of dmsa. That would tell you what he was dumping..enough to satisfy the doc and insurance anyway. Urine metals will not tell you how poisoned his body is. Since there is no way to measure total body burdens. So just measuring what he dumped at the end of a round, will prove that " yes the metals are there " which can also be proven with a hair test. Please search our old posts for " challenge tests " too see the numerous reasons why what the doctor has recommended is dangerous. And how you can safely do a urine metal test. > > > > Thanks that does help. My DAN doc wants me to give my son the 1500 mg for > that test. What would happen if I only give him half of that.
